London, UK (Jul 03 2006) - United Business Media plc announced today that it has acquired MeXi Solutions, a secure communication and data access solutions provider to the Belgian healthcare industry, for a total cash consideration of €2.65m.
Mexi Solutions provides a suite of secure, integrated digital communication, information sharing and access workflow products. The products are highly complementary to CMPMedica Belgium's existing Medibridge electronic communication service. The integration of MeXi Solutions into CMPMedica Belgium will expand the company’s electronic communications user base from 7,000 to 10,000 and will enhance CMPMedica’s market-leading offering to Belgian general medical practices, clinical laboratories and hospitals.
